The flurries all day today presented too good of an opportunity to pass up for some shots. These were taken from my apartment’s front window that overlooks Grove St. This shot is my favorite of the bunch.

This is the result of me playing around with a cheapy light box that I made and trying to find the right shutter speed/ISO balance on the camera. I’m learning. Slowly.
Now who wants to buy me a macro lens?

Interesting, yet useless fact that I read today. ‘If the Washington Redskins win their final home game just prior to the election, the incumbent party wins. This has proven true 18 out of 19 times, and this year, the Redskins play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.’
I don’t remember this working so well for John Kerry 4 years ago (Green Bay 28, Washington 14).
